Job description
We are looking for a talented and experienced AS/400 Developer to strengthen our team. The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose and solve complex problems, while actively participating in the development and implementation of effective solutions. You will work closely with different stakeholders to ensure the quality and performance of our systems.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and diagnosis : Analyze and diagnose the issues, challenges, needs and problems related to your field of expertise.
- Proposals for solutions : Develop and propose possible solutions to respond to the various problems identified.
- Resolution Tracking : Perform necessary follow-ups to resolve complex or unusual issues.
- Objectives and Action Plans : Ensure the development of objectives, solutions and action plans, and actively participate in their implementation.
- Testing strategy : Participate in the development of the testing strategy to ensure complete coverage of needs.
- Test Execution : Identify the required tests and execute them rigorously, while tracking the results in accordance with the product quality strategy.
- Expertise : Act as a resource person for projects or mandates specific to your field of expertise.
Desired profile
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
- Experience : A minimum of two years of relevant experience (finance, application support, user testing, etc.).
- Alternatives : Other relevant combinations of training and experience may be considered.
- Language skills :
- Knowledge of French required.
- Intermediate level proficiency in English due to tasks, work tools or interactions with English-speaking partners, members and clients.
